Homeowners, contractors, and designers across Essex County MA and southern NH. Tell us what you are building, renovating, or need diagnosed. We will get back to you with next steps.
A few quick details help us route your project to the right scope and get back to you faster. No salesy followup. Ian reads every submission personally.
Based in Newburyport, serving Essex County MA and the southern New Hampshire Seacoast within roughly a 45-minute drive. Dual-state licensing means zero border restrictions for MA/NH projects.
Most inquiries get a reply from Ian directly within one business day. Submissions that come through after hours are read the next morning. Urgent or time-sensitive work, call 508-982-7940 - that gets routed immediately rather than going through the inbox.
For defined scopes (service calls, fixture replacements, smaller jobs) we will quote based on the information you send. For larger renovations or new construction scopes, we typically schedule a short site visit or review drawings with you first - that is the most accurate way to price the plumbing scope.
No charge for the conversation. Share what you have and we will take it from there.
Yes. Most of our projects start with a site walkthrough - Ian on site with the homeowner, GC, or designer reviewing the scope. For renovations, that usually happens before drywall. For new construction, it happens before rough-in. For repairs, we diagnose on the first visit.
Both. About 60% of our work is direct-to-homeowner on renovations and service. The other 40% is as a plumbing sub for established GCs and designers. Either way, the same five-person crew runs the job and the same master licenses stand behind the work.
If you are a GC looking for a reliable sub, see our contractor partnerships page for more on how we work.
Full residential scope: bathroom renovation plumbing, kitchen plumbing, hydronic heating and boiler services, gas line installation (outdoor kitchens, pool heaters, fire features), new construction and ADU plumbing, water heater installation, and general service and repair.
For the full list, see the services overview page.
Yes. Ian holds a NH Master Plumber license (#2009861) and a separate NH Gas Piping license (#GF2011222) - a credential most plumbers near the MA/NH border don't carry. That lets us run gas work and plumbing across the state line without subbing out or bringing in a different contractor. Seabrook, Hampton, Exeter, Stratham, Kensington, Newton, Plaistow - all in our service area.
We are not a 24/7 dispatch company. For active leaks, burst pipes, or no-heat emergencies, call 508-982-7940 and we will do our best to route someone. If we cannot get to you quickly enough, we would rather tell you that honestly and recommend you call an emergency service - ECPH is built around project-based craftsmanship, not emergency response volume.
9 New Pasture Rd, Unit 2, Newburyport, MA 01950. Roughly 10 minutes from the MA/NH border and 20 minutes from most of our core service area. Mailing address: PO Box 36, Amesbury, MA 01913. Most client meetings happen on your project site - the shop is where the trucks and materials live.
Whether you are a homeowner with a renovation, a GC looking for a dependable sub, or a designer coordinating trades, start with a quick message or a call. We will take it from there.
